一般社団法人日本ろう野球協会は、2026年11月に日本で開催する「2026世界ろう野球大会（World Deaf Baseball Championship／WDBC）」の公式ポスター(海外用)を制作しました。
公式ポスターには、大会のシンボルであるWDBCロゴを使用しています。
WDBCロゴは、世界中のろう野球選手が一つに集まり、野球を通じてつながる姿を表現しています。交差したバットは国と国との絆を、ホームベースは国境を越えて誰もが輝ける舞台を象徴しています。また、ろう文化への敬意を込め、「World Deaf Baseball Championship」の頭文字である W・D・B・C を指文字で表現しました。
本大会は、「誰もが夢に挑戦し、輝ける社会を―」をテーマに開催します。世界各国の選手が競い合うだけでなく、ろう者と聴者がともにスポーツを楽しみ、相互理解を深める機会を創出するとともに、2025年東京デフリンピックのレガシーを継承し、ろうスポーツのさらなる発展を目指します。
公式ポスターを通じて、本大会の理念や魅力を広く発信し、多くの皆さまに世界ろう野球大会への関心を深めていただくことを期待しています。
The Japan Deaf Baseball Association has unveiled the official poster for the 2026 World Deaf Baseball Championship (WDBC), which will be held in Japan in November 2026.
The official poster features the WDBC logo, the official symbol of the championship.
The WDBC logo represents Deaf baseball players from around the world coming together through baseball. The crossed bats symbolize the bonds between nations, while the home plate represents a place beyond borders where everyone can shine. In honor of Deaf culture and sign language, the initials W, D, B, and C—standing for World Deaf Baseball Championship—are expressed through fingerspelling.
The championship is held under the theme:
“A Society Where Everyone Can Dream, Dare, and Shine.”
More than a sporting event, the WDBC serves as an international platform that promotes friendship among Deaf communities, encourages mutual understanding between Deaf and hearing people, and carries forward the legacy of deaf sports following the success of the Tokyo 2025 Deaflympics.
Through this official poster, the Japan Deaf Baseball Association hopes to share the vision and significance of the championship with audiences around the world and build excitement toward the tournament.
